Step-by-Step Guide
Enable Data Roaming
Go to Settings > Cellular/Mobile > Cellular Data Options and enable Data Roaming for your eSIM line.
Restart Your Device
A simple restart can resolve many connectivity issues. Turn your device off and on again.
Check Network Selection
Go to Settings > Cellular > Network Selection and try switching between automatic and manual network selection.
Verify eSIM is Active
Ensure your eSIM plan is activated and has remaining data. Check the My Plans section in the app.
Check Coverage
Make sure you are in an area with network coverage. Check if other devices have signal in the same location.
Reset Network Settings
As a last resort, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Note: This will remove saved Wi-Fi passwords.
Common Issues
eSIM not connecting to network
Ensure data roaming is enabled, your device is unlocked, and you are in a coverage area. Try restarting your device and selecting the network manually.
QR code not scanning
Make sure you have a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi) when scanning the QR code. Clean your camera lens and ensure proper lighting. Try zooming in on the QR code.
Data not working after installation
Wait a few minutes after installation for the eSIM to activate. Enable data roaming in your cellular settings. Make sure the eSIM line is selected for cellular data.
Cannot make calls with eSIM
Most eSIM plans are data-only. Check if your plan includes voice. For data-only plans, use apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime, or Skype for calls.
Slow internet speeds
Network speeds vary by location and congestion. Try moving to a different area or switching to a different network operator through manual network selection.
